In contrast to my previous "conversation pieces," these two figures are nearly identical in their size, weight, and coloring. This is a mature conversation between two adults who are in close proximity but not physically touching. Their postures are upright and slightly leaning forward, indicating their attentiveness to each other and their mutual respect for the dialogue. They are firmly positioned, signifying their commitment to the interaction and their lack of any immediate plans to depart. While it is possible to separate them and reposition them to face away from each other, what makes these figures special is that regardless of how they are turned, there is always the potential for them to come together and reunite once more.
