Description:

" When I showed this piece to a friend of mine, before telling her what I saw, she told me she saw two figures huddling together, gossiping perhaps laughing at a joke, flirting or just getting to know one another. Another friend (who was going through a rough divorce) saw two figures back to back ignoring one another. I don’t know much about psychology, but I do know art. "

- Robin Antar

In psychology, a projective test is a personality test designed to let a person respond to ambiguous stimuli, presumably revealing hidden emotions and internal conflicts projected by the person into the test. These pieces, different in size, color and shape, give viewers the opportunity to project their own “story” onto the pieces. Who says that they are even people? Another friend of Robin Antar saw the lavender piece as her beloved cat snuggling up to her as she got home from a rough day at work. This is an opportunity for viewers to create their own story.
