I renamed this piece from “Win the Fight” to “NY Tough” as it paralled my own journey alongside fellow New Yorkers during the 2020 COVID pandemic that hit New York City especially hard.

The phrase became a social media hashtag, rallying New Yorkers together to beat the pandemic in a brief show of solidarity amidst deep political polarization.The sculpture now serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of compassion, humanity, and mutual support during difficult times.
